Volvo Cars Danvers

Welcomes 128 Volvo Customers!

After 50 years selling Volvos, the owners of 128 Volvo have retired from the car business. With alternate plans in the works for the dealership property and a number of Volvo dealerships nearby, Volvo Cars North America has decided to close the point and direct customers to the Village Automotive Group, owners of both Boston Volvo Cars in Allston/Brighton, and Volvo Cars Danvers.

Conveniently located off Route 128 in Danvers, adjacent to the Liberty Tree Mall and about 10 miles north of Wakefield, our facility is newly renovated and ready to serve you!

Volvo Village

ABOUT VOLVO VILLAGE

We are the oldest and largest Volvo organization in New England, dating back to 1957 when Gene Brown Motors of Newton Corner, Ma became the first dealership in to New England to start selling this strange new imported vehicle from Sweden. In 1963, our President, Ray Ciccolo went in to buy a used car, and ended up buying the struggling dealership instead! By the 1970's Ray was one of the top Volvo dealers in the USA, and had the largest Volvo Service and Parts operation in the nation. Over time, we continued to grow and took over Stutz Volvo in Salem, which is now Volvo Cars Danvers. This past year, our Founder and President, Ray Ciccolo was honored as one of the inaugural members of the Massachusetts Auto Dealers Hall of Fame.

At Village it's about more than the bottom line. It's about an unwavering commitment to the people and communities we serve. At Village, we care about people - not just cars.

"I take great pride in the fact that while much has changed in this business, we haven't lost sight of the fact that treating people with respect defines us."

- Ray Ciccolo
